Ripple is a sound responsive projection mapping installation. This custom built piece of visual software can be driven through any sound input and adapted to suit different environments. Generative graphics respond in realtime sound, creating a richly immersive, energising and synchronised environment. Depth cameras can be added to display live 3D content while Twitter feeds and text messages can be exhibited in real time. The colours and patterns can be tweaked and adapted and the content can be mapped to seamlessly integrate with the architectural space. This system has been used for interactive visuals for Intel Creators Project in Beijing, for the Vimeo Festival Awards 2010 and at SXSW.
